Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) European Centre for Conflict Prevention The ECCP's mission is to be a service and facilitating organisation for the broad field of conflict prevention and peacebuilding. The ECCP has gained an overview of around 1500 NGOs worldwide who are involved in conflict prevention and peacebuilding. This result has been achieved primarily through its Searching for Peace programme that aims to record, describe and analyse prevention and peacebuilding efforts in the main violent conflicts in the world (with a special focus on multi-track diplomacy). In addition to this, the Searching for Peace publications include extensive directories of organisations working in this field that are instrumental in organising the proposed programme.
