WOMEN are asked to be FIRST, to lead the way, together, with all women and men. Men are included.
A Call to Women is the Mobilization of Women to Stop War.
must be in the forefront because being first brings “courage and hope to others”. Speech-Paraphrase We the women of the world, invite everyone, women and men, to change the world.
A STELLAR Model of NONVIOLENCE For the Children A Call to Women issues the following PROCLAMATION: With respect, we, the women of the world are declaring that we will not allow war in the world and we will intervene with every NONVIOLENT means possible to prevent it or stop it! We do this “For the Children.” Starhawk wrote about women standing for peace as the representation of a “vision of strength.” “Real security can come only when we weave a global web of mutual aid and support. As we make larger connections and take action together, we must assert what we as women know to be true: compassion is not weakness, and brutality is not strength.” A Call to Women is a CATALYST for a Call to Action for the Mobilization of all Men and Women for the Preparation and Practice of a Plan of Action and Emergency Plan, All in One, To Stop War. Women can influence, motivate, inspire, enthuse the rest of the world to unite for peace through nonviolence.
However, we ask people to come together over a basic common denominator, the children, so that the children can learn, practice and live a life of nonviolence. In war, there is a Call to Arms. In peace, there is a Call to Women! Why Women?
