Council of Women


    The Council would consist of eight to twelve leaders from around
    the world who would launch the global challenge of women to
    become a movement for peace across ideological borders.  

    Theory:
    When women mobilize around the world, a new political agenda will
    be implemented.  The new agenda will be determined by women
    and men, with the Council of Women leading the way.  As the
    slogan from the World Social Forum states, “Another World is
    Possible.”  From a world heading in a violent direction, through
    nonviolence and women, a new paradigm is possible.  

    Prerequisites

    Women are going to make it happen, not wait for it to happen.
    The mobilization of masses of people is predicated on leaders,
    leaders coming to the forefront to inspire, and empower people.  

    Council of Women Objective:

  • Inspire and Empower to MOBILIZE and attain a critical mass
  • Influence Governments and the United Nations

    Start-Up Plans:

  • Raise Funds for infrastructure
  • Enlist Advisors for planning and marketing

    Phase One:

  • Council issues announcements
  • Council issues challenge with proclamation
  • Council plans specific special marketing initiative to attract
    attention.*
  • Schedule of events is planned (Two years of events)

    * The leaders will be asked to participate in the major events

    Most importantly the leaders will be asked to lead the way to
    develop the demands and deadlines and fine tune the following
    directives:  

  • Conflict Resolution
  • Disarmament
  • Programs For the Children
  • Schedule
